Where does your 4mth old nap?

Mine (twins) won't nap in their cribs (although happy to sleep there at night) and are now too big for their carry cots. They are currently both asleep on the rug with a blanket over them.

In the sling or fed to sleep in me. Hates the buggy and car seat and not got him to nap in cot yet (also sleeps there fine at night).

Planning to start getting him to nap in cot from around 6mo when I hope he'll have settled into 2/max 3 naps a day at similar times. He catnaps now, 4/5 times each day. Plus he's DS2 so easier to just have him in sling and I get on with DS1

If we're at home 4-month old DD will nap in her cotbed. She sometimes also occasionally falls asleep on my bed, and once on her playmat. If we're out, she'll nap in the car, in the buggy, in the sling... anywhere really! I think what she likes to do most is to nap on me, but I don't let her do it because then I'm out of action for the next hour!

Bouncy chair, sofa with cushions around, buggy, car seat.

Pram sling or car.

omama · 20/03/2015 20:31

Pram/carseat or on me. She is dc#2 so immensely impractical to be stuck under a baby but she screams each time I put her in the sling & I don't have time to spend up to 1hr settling her in the cot for her to then go & sleep a maximum of 45 mins. Have tried this & end up in the bedroom in the dark virtually all day! Hoping for a miracle that I can work on cot naps properly after the Easter hols once ds is back at school, by which time she will be almost 5 months & hopefully starting to take longer naps.

Oh cute! Just leave them to it! I bet they look all gorgeous and cuddly.

In her co-sleeper for the majority and usually on me for the five o'clock-ish nap - sometimes while walking the dog, other times in front of the telly. If we're out and about she'll nap in her sling or pram.

Mine sleep on the sofa with cushions round.

Mine wouldn't sleep in cot during the day too. So would mainly sleep on top of me, unless we were out then she would happily sleep.in sling, car seat, buggy.
