I know this sounds like a dozy question, but DS has suddenly taken to waking early and bouncing around till 9pm, he finds it really hard to get to sleep even with bath bed story? He seems fine, but I wonder if he is draining his energy. How much does anyones elses chilren get??

my eldest is nearly 5 1/2 and he sleeps from 7pm-6.30-7am on week nights and from 8pm-6.30-7am weekends depending no what we're doing.

he has energy from the minute he's awake and even lays in bed nattering away until he's asleep.i sometimes wonder if he's got a duracell battery hidden in him somewhere!

Mine 9pm to 8am. We live close to school so I don't see the point in them getting up any earlier .

P.s. trained the very early to go to bed and read quietly, theory is they will fall asleep when its the right time. I have tried DD earlier but unless she is really tired out she will always be awake until about 9pm
