Hello ladies, I would like some advice on my 8 week old son please. Currently he is having his nighttime bottle at approx 9:30pm to be put down at 10:00pm and going through until 6:00am - sometimes I have to wake him in the morning to feed him his morning bottle. I realise I am very lucky to have this already but what I would like to know is when I decide to start putting him to bed earlier say at 7pm do I just bite the bullet and go straight to it or do I bring it forward a little at a time I.e 9:00, 8:30, 8:00 etc? Also as he is so good now I don't want to chance doing it at too early an age and him waking at 2:00am as I've put him to bed too early too soon, what ages do you recommend to go to bed at 7pm? Thanks in advance!

What times are his other feeds and what does the day look like overall in terms of naps

Hello my dd did similar and I only changed things when 1. I felt like I was interrupting her sleep to give her that last bottle of the day (rather than her waking for it) and 2. She was leaving a lot of milk at one feed so clearly wanting to drop a feed (I think was when we went from 6 bottles to 5 but total milk intake per day stayed the same). Her last bottle then became her 8pm one and I began to put her to bed then. I don't think this was till 3 months bit hazy memory! HTH
