11 month old dropping 9 am nap??

Dear all,
I read these boards daily for advice. Now hoping for some with regards to my 11 month (just) old.
She has really started fighting her 9 am nap and it can take me up to one hour to get her down. Should I drop it and just prong her afternoon one forward. Normally she sleeps in the afternoon for 1 1/2 hours from 1/1.30 pm.
Appreciate your feedback! Grin

I've just posted similar about my 10 month old except she's fighting her pm nap. I'd say drop the am one and pull forward afternoon one a bit. Bedtime may end up having to come forward a little too but I'd say it'll settle after a few days.

I hasten to add this advice is solely based on other threads I've been trawling through and not on my n=1 experience!

Great! It helps to know I have a nap-drop buddy out there!

Somehow I thought we'd get away with two naps for longer but I should have known D"sleepisfortheweak"D wouldn't keep up two blissfully long naps for longer than it took me to get comfortable Grin

Hiya

My children have always dropped the morning nap then bought the lunchtime nap forward. It might be 11am initially - so fitting in lunch becomes a challenge. The gradually push the lunchtime nap later until it is straight after lunch. I have always settled on somewhere around 12.30pm.

Thank you think that's what I'm going to aimto do!
