DD keeps being sick and waking!

I feel like I have posted so many questions on here recently, but now I have another one! My DD is five weeks old and recently her naps and sleep have become so disturbed because she keeps being sick! Not huge amounts, just little dribbles but it always wakes her up and then it's so hard to settle her afterwards. It's not even straight after a feed, sometimes it's well over an hour later! This morning she is supposed to be napping but has woken TWICE now being sick! I don't know what to do because she is not getting enough sleep. She is refluxy and she is on ranitidine and infant gaviscon, but this issue has only really popped up in the last week or two. I try to wind her well and keep her upright for a long time after feeds, not sure what else to try to ensure she gets a decent nap/sleep.

It is perfectly normal for babies to 'spit up' some milk. Sometimes this is whilst asleep and just dribbled out of their mouth. Some parents put baby to sleep on a muslin square to catch the milk sick (which may also develop into a muslin square comforter when older).

Sometimes it can be a long time after a feed for milk to come up. Neither of these are anything to worry about and are perfectly normal.

What isn't normal is if the brining up milk is causing pain or waking baby. This would suggest reflux, which I see you are already under doctors care for.
