HOW DO YOU STOP THIS WAKING AT 2A.M?

My DD is 21 months and has always slept through apart from the odd night. But, over the past couple of weeks, she's been waking at 2a.m shouting for daddy. Daddy goes in, cuddles her back to sleep and off she goes, until 2 hours later and the whole thing is repeated. I'm worried now that her bodyclock wakes her, and of course, we alter the clocks this weekend... How do we stop her waking?

DS was like this with me, unfortunately its just a comforting kind of thing or was in my case. Do you lie with her whilst she goes to sleep? I stopped doing this with DS, I busied myself in the next room and kept going and kissing him and we then found he slept all the way through. That was in our case but I guess every child is different.
