Hi, my 6 week dd is now regularly (touch wood) doing a good 4 hour stretch at night however it's gotten to the point that in waking her to feed because my boobs leak tremendously if i dont. On one occasion age went 6 hours when i didn't wake.

I'm waking like clock work in discomfort. How can i stop this? I don't want to instil this habit into her.

Help.

Could you express some milk instead of waking her? Or try cabbage leaves in your bra?

Ithink your milk supply will settle in line with your baby's needs so maybe best just to wait it out?

I would just hand express a little. Your milk production should adjust after a few days. I wouldn't wake her - that can cause a different kind of pain in the future!
