Hi everyone.

So my 14 month old has been pretty good with his sleep but omg is he restless! He cannot lay still asleep for more than 5 minutes!! He is constantly tossing, turning, rolling, kicking out you name it! How he gets any restful sleep is beyond me! He keeps me awake as im always worried something is wrong as to why he is so restless.
Has anyone experienced this with their lo? He usually tosses n turns so much he brings himself out of his sleep then gets even more restless trying to put himself back into a deep sleep. Ive never known anyone in my life to be so restless in bed. I ensure the temprature is right, he has comfy pjs on, the room is nice and dark ect. Any help would be greatly appriciated

Is he in your room? We moved ds into his own room at 16 months and really improved

He is in my room. I do think its time to move his cot in his room its just with the restlessness i know i wont get any sleep as I will be back and fore checking. Maybe his own room will help with that though, something to try :)

My 14 month ds is exactly the same going to move him into his own room next month when we move into our new house. I think it's teeth.

Ds2 is SO restless. He's 11mths but has alwYs been like it. He keeps banging his head on the cot bars too.

Yeah my DD is 15 months and is like this (been in her own room since 6 months). I hear her banging against the cot bars in the night. She's never still in the day either, the only time in seen her sit still for more than 2 mins is when she was ill! Just a little ball of movement.

Thanks for the replies. My DS head bangs the cot too, weird little creatures :). Hes also on the go all day, I guess im just silly worrying that he never gets any proper rest being on the go all day then so restless at night.
