16 Weeks Old, Sleep/Feed Pattern Gone Haywire - Any Advice?

New to MumsNet. LO being B/F every 3.5/4 hours a day from 7am but does not seem interested and frequently throws up (has done since birth but is gaining weight so HV not worried). Goes to bed at 7pm, used to sleep till I woke her at 10pm but now wakes at 9pm, I have started given FF at 9pm but she still wakes up 4 x in the night, not sleeping for more than 2 hours, will not be pacified till I feed her - and she GULPS it down - nothing like daytime feeds. Last feed is usually 5am so is not interested in the
7am feed. Any advice gratefully received, this started when she hit 12 weeks - can someone tell me about cluster feeding? Is that the answer? Zzzzz

hi, i don't have any advice but am having exactly the same experience. though never close to sleeping straight through, my little angel used to wake a manageable 2-3 times in the night, but now seems to only manage 2 hours at most without waking, often much less. she is now 17 weeks and this started about a month ago. thought she was teething, but now not so sure. consulting the hv on thurs, hopefully some words of wisdom to follow.....

I spoke to HV and also a BF Councillor but both just said "some babies do" and that "it should get better in the next few months". FEW MONTHS! If you get any advice would be SO grateful if you could share. Daytimes are a nightmare when wandering around like a zombie and I dread the nights too.
