Little one is 8 months old and has slept through since early age, about 2 weeks ago wasn't well so started waking in the night for feed, now is on antibiotics and also teething but is waking around same time every night for feed, how can I stop this

If you are sure they don't need the extra calories then just offer water, this was the advice of my sleep consultant and I checked with paediatrician. If they haven't dropped any calories through the day because the illness that has them on antibiotics then offering water is fine, if their appetite has lessened I would prob feed x

While your little one is poorly, I would be inclined to not rock the boat and just carry on feeding for the time being. Once better your baby may well stop the nightfeed on his/her own. If not, then you need to find ways to settle baby back to sleep rather than feeding.

If they wake at the same time each night and you think it's just a developing habit you could try wake-to-sleep for a couple of nights. Set your alarm 20m before they wake, bother them til they stir then leave them. Helps reset their sleep cycle and eventually break the habit.

I really wouldn't do anything until after the antibiotics. And if pain from teething is causing waking sleep training of any sort will be miserable.
