14 mths. Never slept through.
Was ok as a newborn but teething happened. Now very lucky to get three hours in a row.
What about you

Toadsrevisited · 07/02/2015 20:31

13 months. Great up to four months. Worse and worse since until 12 months. Usually goes 8-11,11-3,3-5/6 now. Only when bf and in bed with me at first, then later in bed with me or DH, boob sometimes.

Sometimes I relish the closeness and early nights, sometimes wonder if we should Do Something...

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 07/02/2015 20:34

15 months, has slept through the night 12 times (yes I'm counting Smile). Usually only wakes up once though unless ill/teething (currently has 4 premolars coming though, was awake from 1.30am - 4am last night and only got her back to sleep by sleeping on her bedroom floor. Not fun at 18 weeks pregnant).

DD2 is 20 months - never slept through. We also put it down to teething, but quite ridiculously still giving 2 bottles a night - at 11 pm-ish and then anytime between 1am and 5am. She has only just stopped shouting and crying for ages at bedtime every night. We know we should stop feeding her at night but can't face the inevitable horrible few nights, esp as we have 2 other DDs who would be woken up in the process and who are quite rubbish sleepers themselves anyway.

Watching thread with interest.

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 07/02/2015 20:50

Meant to say DD goes down to sleep fine. Bath, milk, teeth brush, story then put her down awake and she wriggles around for 5 mins then goes to sleep.

Lolly86 · 07/02/2015 20:56

15mo DD has never slept through longest was probably 12-6 when she was about 3months.
Generally goes down about 645/7 sleeps in cot til anytime between 9.30-midnight then spends rest of night with us in bed. Has a bottle before bed and a bottle when she wakes and needs settling. Doesn't usually wake for long though. Sometimes an hour but mostly 10 mins. She is teething but this is usual for her. I'm planning on stopping the bottle in middle of night soon as she doesn't need it hoping that might stop the waking? Be good if she could do majority of night in her cot and come in bed for cuddles from 6am onwards Grin
She has 1/2 naps during day usually one now though about 1 1/2 hrs long

Lolly86 · 07/02/2015 20:57

Should add she doesn't self settle I lay on our bed with her till she goes off then put her in cot

Cakeismymaster · 08/02/2015 22:29

Nearly 17 mths. Slept through 6 times (yes counting too!) has been really bad since christmas. Won't self settle at all, have to stay in with her. Wakes up screaming, piercing screams usually after 2 hrs if I am lucky - won't have DH anywhere near her. Then after that can't get out the room without her waking up and screaming again so just end up sleeping in with her from about 10pm.
I've got other older dc so I know it will pass but my god it's hard work at the mo - no time at all to myself apart from when I'm at work!

littleraysofsunshine · 09/02/2015 20:40

Bed usually at 7/730pm with breastfeed, rocked or laid with. Then he will without fail wake up when I go to bed (cot next to me) sometimes wakes before depending on teething... Then again about 3/4times a night either for a quick feed or just cuddle or fidget mostly.

He's teething his four front teeth up top so it's a bit sore for him. Sore face, snotty, dribble so I feel for him. But I most certainly resemble a panda eye monster. Confused Tired...

We think we disturb him more by getting into bed right next to him so when we love soon we may switch him to a new room or with sisters who sleep through? I just worry if he gets cold as he kicks blankets off...

12 month old ds

2 naps, 9am-9:30/10 and 1pm-1:30/2

Bed at 7/7:30. Wakes after 30mins, then on average every hour. Occasionally sleeps for 2 hours.

Co-sleeping and always fed to sleep. By necessity not choice!

I'm a broken woman.
