has anyone had any experience of this? I've never heard anything like it! He's been snoring every night for a couple of months now. It's not a quiet, cute baby snore either, it's so loud! its also waking him which means he is getting in our bed every night and I'm struggling to sleep myself. is this something I should worry about? thanks.

Could be adenoids. My ds snored terribly until he had his out.

Yes adenoids my son snored so loudly, just like an old man! but also suffered with tonsillitis a lot so he had them removed age 5.

He's never had any problems with his tonsils but he's had quite nasty bacterial ear infections and glue ear. should I take him to see the gp? I recorded his snoring this afternoon whilst he was napping so I can prove to the dr how loud it is!

Yes I would it might clear up his ear infections. My dr came one night to see another child and happened to hear his snoring from outside! And the consultant said he was an obvious candidate for surgery but it was a struggle to get docs to refer him on until he witnessed his snoring.
