Sleeping after a poo

I was wondering whether anyone can help me. My daughter is 6 weeks old and only poo's at night around 12! Only after this will she fall asleep and is really cranky before for several hours. She does not seem constipated and is breast fed mostly except for one formula feed at 7pm and occ 11 that my husband can do. We are trying to get her into a bed time routine to go down at 7 and then gradually reduce the night time feeds as she grows but I can't get her to sleep until she has poo'd!! Then she wants to sleep all day to make up for it!
Any suggestions hugely appreciated! Many thanks

Have you tried baby massage, if you can find a teacher or a class they will help you help her move things along a bit, I'm not sure what the best time would be but you might find a mid afternoon massage would facilitate an earlier poo?

I think she might just be too little for the 7 pm bedtime, it's normal for them to be cranky and want to cluster feed all evening at that age. Have you tried feeding more often than 7 pm then 11 pm, this sounds like some kind of routine which she is very young for?
