Bath before bed

Hi,
I'm really keen to start my 7 week old having a bath before bed but she screams blue murder as soon as she is out of clothes and then in water. I don't bother as it agitates her to much and would rather get her down.
How can I get her to enjoy her bath or does it matter if her bath is in the daytime instead!

Also out of interest what age do you start using a cot mobile, my baby is in a Moses at the moment but silence gets her to sleep so a little confused by musical mobiles
Thanks a lot in advance

I think all babies go through the hating bath stage. No one told me this! I'd just preserve for a bit. Quick bath will help relax her before bed and start a bit of a routine. Stick with it, mine loves bath time now (8months) and gets excited when it's bath time! You could try some small toys as a distraction?

Taking her in the bath with you might help. I sometimes did this and she enjoyed it.

Never used a cot mobile.

I agree, have her in the bath with you, I used to love that.

Check it's warm enough. My DD hated bathtime, then we got an accurate temperature gauge. 37.5 degrees is perfect for her.
