Regularly waking...

Our son is now almost 7 months old and we're lucky that he has had some (blissful!) good nights sleep. At the moment though he is often waking throughout the night - last night was every hour. Unless he is due a feed, he only needs a bit of shushing or a brief rock to go back to sleep though and I'm not sure why he's woken up - not obviously warm/cold/needing nappy change etc.

Any thoughts appreciated - I realise it could be much worse, but regularly waking up and getting out of bed just to go 'shhhhh' is annoying!

My son is 8 months old and has been doing this for the past month or so. His two bottom teeth have come through in this time so I've put it down to that. Could it be teething?

We co sleep so it's not too much trouble to get him back off to sleep but I agree it's annoying. He slept for five hour stretches up to four months old... It's been downhill since then!
