20 month old wakes up at night like clockwork

Hi everybody,
I really need help. My dd2 is 20 months and is waking up each night around 12am/1am and struggles to go back to sleep. I give her a bottle of milk because before it would help her go back to sleep but now it doesn't. Sometimes she wakes and she acts as if it's morning asking for peppa and cereal. We live in an appartment and have had the neighbours down stairs banging on the ceiling shouting "shut up." So I'm extremely conscious of the noise she makes.
I went back to work this summer and it's a really full on job, I feel exhausted! I just want her to have a good night sleep for her and for us. She has a great routine, good nap in the day, eats well.
What can I do? She's awake now looking at me like she would like to get up and start playing.Hmm

can you give a bit more info e.g. what's her bedtime? Does she nap? If so roughly what time? What time is it by the time you get her back to sleep? How long has she been doing it? Perhaps you could go and see your neighbours and explain that you're having some trouble with night waking with your DD, and whilst you are doing your best to solve the issue and get her back to sleep quickly, banging on your ceiling won't help her to get back to sleep....

My 21 month old son is the same. Used to sleep really well but is now waking anywhere between 1-4am and won't go back to sleep in his cot. We work so only way to get any sleep it to bring him into out bed, which brings the delightful head buts and kicks in the face to me and daddy as lo wriggles about the bed!! I share your frustration as can't understand the sudden change. No helpful suggestions, but you are not alone!! Only thing I can think of is he is waking up chilly in the night as it is now getting cooler, but he refuses to wear a sleeping bag and hates being covered by a duvet. Maybe they'll grow out of it?!?!?!?!

No helpful suggestions. Just to say my DS is a similar age and is exactly the same, he wakes at about 2 am and then about 5 ish. I am exhausted before the day begins.
