When do you have to start waking them up, rather than vice versa??

Very interested in this!

With my dd averaging a 6.30am start, I am looking forward to the time when I may be able to sleep until 7.30/8am (on a weekday) and perhaps 9/10 on the weekends!

Dd is only 2.5 at the moment and so I am not expecting any miracles but just interested about when other peoples kids have started to sleep in?

School age?

Exactly - often have to wake DD (aged 5) at 8 on a schoolday, but sadly she is up and raring to go at 7 at the weekend!!

In our house its the 2.3 yr old that we have to wake up some mornings but DD (nearly 7) insists on getting up 6.45/7 am. On the rare occasion DD sleeps in, then DS wakes early.

One day they will both sleep late(I can dream.......)

Lol.

Spatz, you know I think my sister and I were like that at weekends at that age too. Damn!

So, is it teenager time?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

lol, not yet! I think I have only ever had to wake up dd a couple of times, and she is 6. But at least she, and ds(4) will stay in bed til I tell them to get up now.
