Advice needed on baby monitors!

We have tried several baby monitors in our house but we are plagued with interference, even when we switch off every possible electrical appliance.
Someone's recommended one of those digital 'interference-free guaranteed' monitors but before we fork out another ?100 I thought I'd asked whether anyone out there had tried one of them successfully.
Any tips appreciated. Thank you.

We have a BT digital monitor, and I would def recomend it. It was about £60-70 quid and has temp indicator, lullaby which you can activate from the parent unit, talk back and night light.

We had no problems with interference and there are afew babies living near us. We didnt ever try any others though so cant tell for sure. I thought it was great though.

Our BT digital worked fine truly no interference. But now it's bust, but it just gave up the ghost this weekend, won't stay on. Seems the button is switching itself off.

We had a digital one ( think it was sharps ) after our normal one got broken (dh threw it against a wall in the middle of the night because he was driven to distraction by it's stupid humming).
Digital one was fantastic - no interference at all. Particularly liked the sensitivity control - can use it as babies get bigger so you don't hear the snuffling and snoring, just the real cries..also liked the talk back function, ds used to use it as a walkie talkie ( milk please! )

Thanks everyone, that's really helpful. I'll give one of those digital ones a go.

Sounds as if the talk-back function is a must. The thought of Bluebear's son ordering room service made me laugh :0
