Hi
I have a nearly 5 month old DS. He never slept through the night and fed every three hours, however since we started mix feeding his reflux has improved a lot and he can now go 10 hours asleep without a feed!
Obviously this sounds amazing... But my trouble is he stirs and wakes me every hour from midnight till his morning feed. He wriggles, grunts, screws his face up and so on. If I leave him his grunts get louder and turn to cries. I have to get up and put his dummy in and roll him onto his side and he immediately goes still and silent and sleeps happily... For between 20 mins to 1.5 hours, then does it again.
I've tried him on his front, only slept for an hour. His head end of his cot is raised because of the reflux. He's always preferred to sleep on his side and that's how he falls asleep but he rolls onto his back in his sleep. He falls asleep with a dummy but spits it out after 5 mins. He doesn't appear to have wind, although sometimes a few farts do come out as I move him.
Anyone had this? Any recommendations?
