When did you start co-sleeping?

I started co-sleeping at about 3 months with dc1 when she could hold her neck, as it makes night bf so much easier - I'm wondering with dc2 what's normal/most people consider safe? Obviously I'd never drink or take painkillers and co-sleep

Waited a few months with the first two. With the third...the first night in a sort of nest in my bed. DH slept in spare room. Once baby could roll DH came back. Everyone got as much sleep as possible as if other two woke in the night they went to him.

As soon as DD outgrew her moses basket, she was in a cot bed which was side-car attached to our bed so she had her own space but was sleeping next to me so I could roll over to feed her. It also meant that there was space at the foot of the cot for me to put my banana/cake/drink and a spare nappy in case she needed changing. At about the age of a year she had pretty much moved into our bed full time as she would wriggle over in her sleep.

Thanks I'm going to get a nest, had forgotten how much newborns hate to sleep anywhere other than right next to a person!
