Hi, just bought my DS a single bed and he falls out, unless its against the wall, with the bed guard on the other side.
At what age do they stop moving around so much in their sleep? I'd love the bed in a more central position ;)

We never used a bed guard, but had a large towel rolled up under the sheet at the edge. When on holiday DD fell out a couple of times at about 2.10, but I think she'd got it sussed in her own bed by that age.

Unless it's an unusually tall bed or there are other hazards (very hard floor or pipes to hit your head on for example), I suggest you put the bed where you want it, put the towel down the edge and/or something soft on the floor and let your DS learn.
