It should be called co-staying up all night.

That's what I found. Quite jealous of people who can cosleep.

Haha it was the same in our house. I could never understand why people suggested it as a sleep solution! For us it just meant that DD was still awake all night, but spent it clawing at my face and climbing on me rather than crawling around her cot.

I've just done 2.5 hours of one month old DS bfing, grunting, spitting up and crying- when is the sleeping bit going to happen? He did the same through his afternoon nap today so no nap for me either.

In our house its called 'balancing on the edge of the bed while 5 month old takes up all the bed sleeping'.

Despite this we do get more sleep than we would otherwise.

The smallest baby has an uncanny ability to kick one person and punch the other at the same time I found. Plus not being able to wrap my self in a duvet meant a lot less sleep for me.
