post-mose basket arrangements

Hi all, my son will only be in his moses basket for a few more weeks. we dont really have space to put the cotbed in our bedroom. Is it feasible to use a travelcot in our bedroom for just under 5 months, im not really sure what the other options are??

We used a travel cot but bought a proper mattress to fit it. The mattress cost about £30 I think.

I put a folded up duvet on the floor . In fairness he had outgrown the Moses basket by 10weeks old and the cot and travel cot were far to big for our bedroom. Ds really liked the duvet though! He is now in his cot in own room at 6 months.

We did travel cot with proper mattress as well. Worked a treat and I actually think it seems comfier than her real bed! She still goes in it when we have people visiting and they use an airbed in her room.
