Can you recommend a lovey? And how does your lo use them? Held to face? Over face? In hands? Mine seems unable to manage one!

Ds was never bothered but dd, 5 months, has just got a tags blanket which she seems to like sort of hugging to her face. I'm praying it'll help with her awful daytime sleeping.

My daughter wasn't really bothered until she was about 8 months and then you couldn't get her away from a brown teddy she was bought when she was newborn. She has to have him whenever she sleeps or goes to nannies while I work. Teddy is her life!!! He is so raggy now, I think he'll fall apart soon but to her, he is so special. She normally falls asleep using him as a pillow!!

My eldest has a Kaloo (Google it). The flat kind - more like a flannel with head and limbs - not the rounder sort. He just snuggles with it.

My younger child has almost the same toy but has never taken to any kind of " lovey"
