DD wont let DH do bedtime routine - Please Help!!

Hi

My DH has been trying for the last week or two to do the bedtime rountine for DD, who is 14 weeks, as I am starting a college course 1 evening a week so will not be around 1 evening and he also wants to spend this time with her as he is out at work all day so only gets to see her at this time.

although I prepare everything in advice to make the process as smooth as possible as soon as he starts to get her undressed for the bath she starts to cry and this just gets worse until she is really screaming!

She then refuses her bottle and ends up falling asleep without being fed!

I have sometimes gone in and rescued when she gets too upset but this isnt going to help DH in the long run.

Has anyone else had this problem, any suggestions??

Maybe try going out and leaving them to it - if she knows you're not around, maybe it could work better. I know my 2 do tend to play DH and I off against each other, but if the other's not there, that's not an option. Good luck - hope the situation improves for you.
