I feel like we don't really have a routine but just writing this out makes me realise we do have somewhat of a pattern/regularity to our day now:

7AM wake and BF
8AM breakfast - spoon fed weetabix & fruit
9:30AM BF & nap for 60-90 minutes
11AM-1:30/2PM one or two BFs and starting to include lunch now (self fed sandwich, fruit, rice cake & humous etc… & yoghurt)
1:30/2PM nap for 60-90 minutes
4PM BF
5PM Dinner (mixture of spoon and self fed - usually mashed version of whatever we're having e.g. cauliflower cheese, sweet potato mash & roast pork)
7PM bath, BF and bed by 7:30 (usually feeds around 3/4AM still, yawn)

Sometimes he still wakes after 30 minutes when napping and can't be re-settled (spent 6 months like this!!) and we sometimes have to squeeze in a quick 40 winks around 4:30pm - usually just a snoozey feed on the sofa.

This was us 18 months ago, so I hear where you are coming from!! During the day, our 'nap' routine basically became: soothe for 30+ minutes (swaddling, rocking, running the water, white noise, dark room, sling, walks, lullabies - you name it), he'd finally fall asleep, he'd sleep in my arms (he wouldn't sleep in his bed at all) for 10-30 minutes, then he'd wake up screaming, and we'd go through it all again. I knew he was exhausted. No joy. After two months of things getting worse and worse (and Baby getting crabbier and crabbier), we all finally decided to give sleep training a try. This video about sleep training helped us a lot bit.ly/2NeoROP
