Newborn sleep

My DC have all been horrific sleepers. But my latest isn't. Shes been managing four hour stretches at night and even one six hour.

Tonight has been hideous though. I've fed her every hour and a half. Seems so odd for it to change like this. I know everyone will say newborns just do what they need you have to go with it. And if course I will. Just wondering if anyone has any advice? Checked comfort, nappy, tummy etc. Maybe not enough feeding in the day?

How old? DS2 is similar - very good sleeper (compared to DS2!) but every so often an awful night waking and feeding every hour. He's 4 months now and has had maybe 4 or 5 nights like that.

There are a lot of growth spurts at first, i think at 10 days, 3 weeks, 6 or 8 weeks etc (google will help, Icant remember offhand).

I too panic in case it means his sleep will deteriorate and end up like DS1 who still doesnt sleep aged 3 years (last night I got up 8 times for DS1 and only twice for the baby!)
