Hi I'm looking for some help advice anything you can offer me. I have 2 boys and my youngest who is 25 months doesn't sleep. I'm lucky if he does 1/2 hour to 4hours on a night and 1hour during day. He's recently had grommets fitted but has always been a bad sleeper. He's also got an obsession with my bra strap woundering if this could be it???? I'm at my wits end sleep deprived severely ????????. Any advice ladies thanks

Have you tried co sleeping? Might help him settle if your right there next to him?

mummum2boys · 12/08/2014 21:44

Yes tried co sleeping at the minute we spend most nights on the sofa as not to wake my older son who's 6 and my husband as he goes to work at 3 in a morning. I've had him to doctors and there referring him to the peadiatrics. Im just at the end of my tether. Don't know how much longer I can survive on 1/2 hour sleep look after kids house and work. Sorry for the rant

Omg poor you. You need to speak to a doctor ASAP. Have you tried baby paracetamol at bedtime in case in pain. A gro clock? Same bedtime every night. Drop all screen time which is bad for sleep. Get him out and about/to soft play for at least two hours physical exercise a day. It must be pain though surely?

I have a tiny sleep depriver myself so I completely understand tge need to rant!!
Have you thought of a sleep clinic?

ipswichwitch · 13/08/2014 06:56

Get refered to a sleep clinic. We are waiting for the appointment for 2.10yo DS1. He had sleep apnoea which caused him to wake many times a night , as a result of his breathing stopping. He's had his tonsils out 2 months ago to sort the apnoea, but his sleep is still just as bad. So no advice really, just we know how shit it is and hope the sleep clinic can help!

I stumbled across this is a very sleep deprived state! Haven't contacted her yet but I'm hoping she is my ticket to atleast one nights sleep!
