Feed to sleep for naps?

DS2 is 6 weeks old and naps are only happening if he is being cuddled. He wakes upon being out downin crib. Currently I feed when he wakes from a nap. Would anyone suggest feeding before a nap to try and help him have a longer sleep?

Thanks

I always found that dd slept better if I fed her immediately before her nap. She often fed to sleep and this was a quick and easy way of getting her to nod off. Enjoy it while it lasts! She's too young to be worrying about bad habits. Btw, I also used to feed her when she woke as I was breastfeeding and it helps build your supply if you feed as often as possible.

Feeding to sleep works for a reason.... So do it!

Yes- I still do occasionally at 20 months and boy am I glad of it!

When tiny though I did find it was a bit of an issue at times as he was very burpy - I had strong let down, he had mild tt and a high pallette - and this would wake him. He was a bit refluxy too. However once I worked out he had to sleep upright (sling or propped up) it was fine. (Main reason I hate cots and sleep training; spent a stupid couple of weeks making us all miserable trying to get him to nap in a cot)

He naps fine a nursery and with others in the buggy which lies flat.
