12 wo - how long between naps

DS is 12 weeks and so far I've been putting him down for a nap once he's been awake for an hour and 15-30 mins. He's generally been settling himself really well and napping brilliantly. But the last few days he's been really hard to settle. I wonder whether I should be leaving him for longer between naps now? Or is it more that he's more alert now so fighting sleep, but I should still be aiming to put him down after the same amount of time?

Any thoughts anyone?

Put him down when you start seeing his tired cues rather than at a set awake time.

At 12 weeks it was usually around 90 minutes awake, but babies sometimes get tired sooner / later they aren't robots.

See, that's the thing, he hasn't been giving such clear tired cues more recently and I think that's him just being really interested in what's going on and powering on through! Yesterday he was awake for 2.5 hours and still not really showing tired signs even though he surely was tired by then!

Mine was about 90 minutes at that age. He doesn't really show tired cues, or at least not til he's so tired he's hard to settle, so I find it works better for me to have naps at set, regular intervals. My eldest is 3.11 and still the same - he would never go to bed if not made to and would just power on through so as not to miss anything.
