Moses basket to cot transition - what do i do?!

My 19 week old is getting big for her moses basket. I worry that it's making her 4 month regression even worse.

I tried her in the cot last night, rather than the basket, and she was having none of it. She ended up in our bed.

Should I wait until we've emerged from the regression to put her in cot? I figured I might as well deal with the two issues at the same time, but maybe that's not a good idea.

Suggestions most welcome :)

We moved our (slightly younger) baby to her cot a couple of weeks ago. She wasn't settling at first either so I put the Moses basket in the cot and the baby in the basket. That way she got used to the new view but from old surroundings. After about three nights I removed the Moses basket and she's been happy to go in the cot since.

I did the same as riksti and it was fine after a couple of days. Good luck

riksti - we did the same. Baby & basket in the cot for a few nights, then moved her into the cot.

Transition from cot to bed was fun! :)

Thanks guys :) the basket has been in the cot for a couple of months, I was hoping for the same result as you guys!

I used a gro bag which is new for her, maybe ditch gro bag for now and stick with blankets for transition.
