hi all,
ds is 11 weeks old now, and without fail, he stirs around 3am every day/ he spends the rest of the night until 6-6.30 wriggling and straining (but still half asleep!) until he finally gets his poop out.
any way i can help him?!

I don't have any advice but wanted to let you know you're not alone - my 5 week old does this. It's driving us insane and awful to see him look so frustrated and/or in pain. I just keep hoping he'll grow out of it soon but maybe not if yours is 11 weeks!

Likewise not much advice but my 13 week old has just started doing this over the last 2 weeks... Starts from 5am, eventfully pooing by about 8.30am. Really hate seeing him like this and he keeps waking himself up with it so exhausted too! hope it sorts itself out soon, or someone here gives some great advice!

Hoping someone can give some advice, same problem here. 4 week old wakes for night feed at 3, goes back down just after 4 then spends the next two hours wiggling and grunting to fart /poo. Only thing that works is getting him up and having him sleep more upright on one of us.

when they are of weanable age (so no use for you op) I found cutting out fruit after lunch has helped massively with night pooing.
