Food-refusing six month old waking for milk

Hope you can decipher this, am very tired.

DD2 is 6.5 months and formula fed. Won't eat. I try to give her three very small meals a day - more like three small tastes of what food is, iyswim, as she raelly does not want to eat. She looks disgusted at all food of all textures. Purees only, her motor skills aren't good enough to BLW. That's ok, she'll eat when she's ready, I thought. We'll just take it slowly.

BUT she is waking up ravenous at 330am. I give her a top up feed at around 1030pm. Then I make sure she's awake at 7am to ensure she gets enough milk during the day, which she does.

It's definitely not habit, she's really hungry. I tried fooling her with water/less milk but she won't have any of that.

She has slept through reliably since three months old.

Is it the food thing? Or have I broken her somehow?

Sounds pretty normal ? Growth spurts can make them wake for a feed. My ds still sometimes does it during teething/growth spurts and he's 18 months

Ah ok. Never happened with my first. Thanks. I think I will cry if she's still doing it in a year!
