8mo sleep regression- anyone been through it?

Just that, DD is 8 months today and for the last few days sleep has gone to shit, not sure what to do.
It could be the weather, teeth, or 8mo reg. I guess it's this because it is very out of character and she's on the brink of crawling. Heat and teeth probably don't help.
She still needs 3 naps a day at the mo as she's waking early and napping short, and I've tried bedtime at 5.30 and she treats it like a nap so I might as well do likewise!
Any words of wisdom? We sleep trained (CC) at 6 mo, should we doggedly stick to that and make her cry lots (please say no! It was easy first time round, looks much harder now) or throw it out the window and cuddle/boob until this is over? Will that break all her good habits? She's able to self settle for naps, just not bedtime at the moment. And she's waking throughout the evening.
Anyone been through this? Help!! Will it last long?

We are going through this too. But my dd, also 8 months is struggling with naps rather than at bedtime. I'm not sure what to do either as her naps have been pretty good but now they are not. I'm tempted to take her for a walk in push chair to get her to sleep!

Yep, still going through it! She's 11 months old now so it's been 3 (maybe a bit more) months of hell.
I have no solutions - I am now seeing a sleep consultant as it's that bad.
And I was told it 'passes' Wink......

I would say do whatever it takes to get through it. My dd stopped sleeping through at 8 months and still isn't at 9.5months. It is rubbish. We are getting through by cosleeping.
