20 month old fighting sleep!

Hi
For the past two weeks my normally sleeping baby has decided that sleep is for wimps and refuses to settle for either naps or at bedtime.
before, she used to be up at 7am, nap 1.30pm- 3.30pm, 4pm and then bed at 8pm. She slept all night teething excluded and was happy. Since she has started sleep dodging she is a whinging tired mess for most of the day, until you try to put her down for a nap when she thinks that it is party time! it has been taking over an hour for her to settle for naps and, despite putting her to bed at 8pm she has not been finally settling until at least 9.30pm requiring numerous settles in between.
I have tried limiting naps, putting her down for a nap earlier, later and not at all and putting her to bed for the night at her usual time, earlier and later with little difference. Its like she has forgotten how to sleep! She has also started waking during the night and will not settle for about half an hour to an hour and so, as I am sure you can imagine, we are both zombies!
Any advice on how to get my sleeping baby back?
thanks

My daughter went through the same thing at the same age. For a few horrifying days we thought she was about to drop her nap too as well as not going to sleep until 9pm or later Shock Thankfully it appears to have been a phase. She's 23 months now and back to normal. Still none the wiser, though!
