Recently, I was discussing 6mo DS's bedtime woe with my mum and heard a new story from her childhood. The conversation went like this:
Mum: When I was a baby, my parents walked around the block or went for a drive at bedtime.
Me: Oh well, that's common, using motion to send a baby to sleep.
Mum: Oh no, they put me to bed, then they walked around the block or went for a drive so they didn't have to listen to me cry.
Me: ?!?!
Disclaimer: I am in no way endorsing this. It was a long time ago in a land far, far away. I just thought it was funny compared to all the acronyms and methodologies I'm wading through trying to figure out how to get DS to sleep better.
