I'm a new Mummy so could use some help !I'm 2 weeks into my new life so to speak !!!!! I have rented a bednest but I'm struggling to feed during the night. I want to keep the side up as I'm worried about my duvet going on him ,but I'm finding it hard bringing the side down in the night, and the metal rod on the drop down is uncomfortable to lie on when I'm feeding :( . Has anyone else had these problems ? I'm thinking of just getting another crib ,I'm so tired . I have looked at the snuzpod and these sides look much easier to zip down , but its alot more money .

Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks

Buy a two pool noodles and pop under the bed sheet at the edge and top of the bed, baby can't fall out. Get yourself a sleeping bag and baby one too, much better than faffing with blankets. And congratulations on the arrival of your son.

Our Bednest side panel opens easily from our bed and we have it half-open - it's not meant to be for laying on - it's to close the gap between mattresses. I am sure Bednest will send another if you contact them or even give a refund. I met them at Manchester baby show and they are lovely. Talk to them and they will help I am sure.

I should also say.. Just lift the panel a small amount to open it as it has a safety locking mechanism thingy. But really easy. X
