Night time feed.....morning sick!!

My lo is six months old and feeds on demand, he usually has a feed at 730pm, then wakes up between 10 and 11pm for another feed. He then wakes up again for a feed between 2 and 4am, however even if I try winding him, nothing happens, his food then sits on his stomach until he wakes up. He either has a full feed or dilly dallies, and then throws up the contents of his stomach. He's happy with no after effects, except hunger!! This has been going on and off for two weeks, any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

My HV suggested offering boiled water as by 6months unlikely to need the feed. Will kick off for a few nights and then possibly stop waking. I've not had the stamina to try it yet as can't afford a bad night til next week.

Thank you, I cut down his feed since posting this and it seems to be working. Last night put a blanket on his legs instead of wrapping him up and he slept from 1030 till 5 had a small feed and went back to sleep. ....I think I may have been over heating him :-/ I'll try water and see what happens :)
