Rolling baby!

Our 3mo DS has learnt to roll!

Brilliant during the day when he can spend ages practising his new skill but not so great at night :(

He can turn over (in a sleeping bag) but can't get back - he's fine for a little while but then gets tired and cries. He can be comforted and does fall back to sleep but usually by bringing him into bed with us - then I don't sleep as I'm worried he's going to roll again. I stay up and then when he seems calm put him back into his cot.

Really just wondering how else anyone got on with this - it's not a massive problem but I do worry about him and if there are any tips for rolling babies I would love to hear them!

I have the very same problem! I bought a pool noodle from eBay, cut it in half and out it under DD's fitted sheet. That's stopped her from rolling over at night and it was really cheap!

Thanks MagicDucky

I had to google pool noodle... Blush

I'll have to do something similar as DS had turned around and upside down and was reaching out between the bars this morning. It's all too early! I thought babies stayed put longer than this!
