sleep problems for a 10 month old.

My boy is 10 months and is barely sleeping right through. If I'm lucky he will once a week.
I know this is my own fault really because I rock him/floor pace untill he goes sleepy then I put him down and repeat until he falls asleep but I don't want him to wake his 4 year old brother who he room shares with or my husband who is up for work very early. I'm still up several times between midnight and 4am and 10 months on its getting me down. When he wakes in the night I try rocking in the dark but often give in with a bottle that usually sends him sleepy. I'm told he shouldn't be having bottles at his age in the night now but at that time I'm desperately in need of sleep so I'll do anything.
What can I do??

If giving a bottle helps him settle then I would carry on, he is only little still and IMO it is perfectly normal for babies to still wake at 10 months and a lot of them will still need a feed during the night.

Maybe try offering less and gradually cutting it out?
