Hi all

I will be taking 2 night flights (there & back) when DS is 9mths old.

When I booked it I just didn't think of impact on sleep etc (yes I am STUPID)

What's everyone's thoughts/tips/advice on night flights with babies?

I'm talking the whole travelling trip ie ... going to airport, waiting around, the actual flight, getting bags the other end, getting car & then home etc .....ConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfused

I found a night flight easier. she just slept on my lap the whole way really. and through the airport in the buggy etc. she was 4m though so littler. I didn't put her in the cot thing because every time the seatbelt sign went on you had to lift them out.

How long is the flight? We did night flights to/from Florida when DD was 9 months and it was ok. She slept quite a bit on the plane and wasn't too grumpy when awake. She also slept in the buggy whilst we were waiting for flights. It was fragmented, though, and she was hideously over tired by the time we cleared baggage/customs both times and was screaming when we got in the car, but it was only us having to listen to it so not too bad.

Ok cool! Thanks also how did they adjust to sleeping after a fragmented night? - I assume it's like any other fragmented night but I'm hoping the worst are behind me & I can usually sort it in 2 days if we've had a rough patch
