hello everyone,

this is my first post so nice to have joined and look forward to speaking to you all about things!

I'm trying to drop my nearly 8month old sons 4am feed. I've finally managed to get him onto three meals a day and for literally just a few days he stopped his 4am feed by me soothing him back to sleep with a dummy but that's stopped working.

he does feed a lot in the day and he goes bed quite early. always in bed for 6:30ish, tried to push it out so many times and he has none of it and what happens is he gets so tired that he won't take his bedtime bottle.

I was thinking of putting him down for a nap at his bedtime around 6:30, without a bottle and no bedtime routine etc so he'll think it's a nap? then seeing when he wakes which I'd hope would be before midnight to then put him to bed properly and give him a full feed, so basically giving him a later bedtime feed to see if that'll stop his 4am one?

I'm so worried I don't want to mess around with his bedtime routine as it's always been the same but I'm exhausted. he wakes hourly from midnight by rolling himself over and teething pains and then feeds at 4am, then ready to start the day at 6am!

please help :-)
