DD is 6.5 months and after a terrible first 4 months isn't a bad sleeper. She sleeps right through a few times a week now, hurrah! (Sorry).
Up till now she has been taking 200ml in the night when she wakes around 2-4am so I've been happy that she is genuinely hungry. However, since we started weaning (which she's doing well with and enjoying) she's still waking but only taking an ounce or two. She won't bother when I take the bottle away as she is clearly not interested but will cry when she goes back into her cot.
I have tried to leave her before I go in and sometimes she will resettle herself but other times won't yet is not hungry I don't think. If she cries when I put her back down after the attempted feed I will leave her - she's not ill, teething and evidently not hungry.
Is it time to drop the night feed completely? Should I just leave her? How can I resettle without milk?
Experiences and thoughts gratefully received.
Thanks.
