Night time battles

4.5 year old daughter has 90% of time been a great sleeper on Gina ford routine. Had a couple of periods of her only wanting to be on our bed but have knocked that on the head. However this has now recently been replaced with her insisting someone sit with her whilst she falls asleep which is not so much the problem but if she wakes in the night, she wants one of us to sit with her, if we refuse the screaming is unbearable. We have recently moved house so realise this could be a trigger but am doubtful. Hubby is softer than me and we disagree a bit if I take a more hard line approach, which did work after I threaten to shut her door - felt horrid saying it but was at wits end! We tried the returning her to bed but she keeps coming out. I work part time and beginning to feel exhausted. Both hubby and I lost our mothers in the last 3 years so are low on female support network and am feeling frazzled. Any help on how to resolve greatly appreciated!
