Too-Sleepy 9week old

My usually wakeful 9wk old has slept nearly all day today, only awake for about 6hrs, which has me kinda worried. I've taken her temp which is normal and she doesn't appear unwell, just a little too-relaxed. I guess I'm asking if this is 'normal' - do babies sleep more once they get passed the newborn stage or should I be concerned? Also, should I be trying to wake her up more during the day (she's usually a good night-sleeper and I'm worried I'm going to pay for this tonight!) Thanks!

Mrs Bunny, I don't know whether this is true for other babies, but my babies have all had days when they've slept much more than normal, and I've put it down to growth spurts - they've needed to conserve their energy for growing! Hope she's ok!

Thanks Tortoishell, A growth spurt sounds about right, since she's back to her old self this morning and feeding like crazy!
