Now I'm stuck

My 29 month old DS has always been a poor sleeper, and only started STTN less than 2 months ago. For naps when he was younger he was always BF to sleep. Now, he will only nap in the car. Although this was so inconvenient I could combine with another trip/ activity making it less so.

Now DS2 has arrived a month ago I am now really stuck. Has anyone else experienced this? No nap = meltdown tantrums, but how can I juggle the two DS's? Hoping for a miracle solution!

A regular car journey after lunch? Lunch for you and DS1, milk for DS2. Both in the car for a joint nap?

If you can't get out - blanket and TV on the sofa is a good rest for your eldest and you

Does DS1 nap in a pram? I found my double buggy a lifesaver for double naps.

Could you encourage quiet time when he would normally have napped? In his room, dim light, quiet activity - he might go?
Dc2 is due in a few weeks and ds (2.6) has just started to drop his nap... Help!

Also, is it possible the meltdowns aren't just due to not napping? I.e., the adjustment to a new sibling?
