It has just taken me 2 hours to get my 6 month dd to go to sleep in her cot. She would be sound asleep in my arms and as soon as I put her down she cried her eyes out. Eventually I have managed to get her to settle by putting my pillow in her cot !! I don't want to leave her with the pillow but am frightened :D to try and move it incase it all starts again. She has slept in her cot since about 6 weeks old so it's not new her!

Read No Cry Sleep Solution. Gradual Retreat might help.
