Grobags size

Bit unsure what size Grobag to put on DD (18 months).

In the 12-18 month sizing her feet reach the bottom and she doesn't look entirely comfortable.

The 18-36 month sizing says minimum weight 11.4kg and I don't think she weighs that - she was 10.4kg approx. 1 month ago.

She has always had a relatively big head, if that's relevant.

What would you do?

Definately size up. I've found they shrink a bit after washing anyway.

Put her in the one that she can't reach the bottom in. But put it on and check that she can't get her head in it first.

I'd size up too. My 16 month old shorty DS has an 18-36 one and it's fine. It's a Jojo maman one with poppers to shorten the length, so less chance of slipping down or getting tangled.

Thank you. I think I will do some testing of head size v sleeping bag hole tomorrow.

Bit surprised re weight - does the average 18 month old weigh more than 11.4kg? Anyway, best to test it tomorrow.

My 19 month is in the age 3-6 year one! His feet touched the bottom of the 18-36 month one.

Wow fairy that's very tall!!

I've just looked at the WHO charts and the average girl doesn't hit 11.4kg until 24 months. So a while to go still it seems. The Grobag website does say they only use weight as an indication for head size so should test that.

I think our DD moved more or less on the age of the grobag. She is on the big size, but not unusually so.
