I need my bed back!

My 16 mo has always been a terrible sleeper. About 5 weeks ago we decided to try cc and it worked! She now is a pleasure to put to bed, and gets herself off to sleep in a matter of minutes. The one problem is, is that she still wakes in the night and won't go back to sleep unless I bring her into our bed - this can be anytime between 9pm and 4am. DP has been relegated to the sofa for the past 2 weeks which is less than ideal and we now need to put an end to it. Do we let her cry when she wakes in the night? I know that she can self soothe, so this is just a bad habit that we've all gotten ourselves in to. Any help would be much appreciated

Watching as in similar situation with 17 mo although we did gradual retreat not cc. Worked ok but Christmas, teething and colds upset things and actually he will rarely settle in his cot Hmm alone
If you did cc I think your meant to do it t night wakings as well. We get in difficulties as if we don't move ds quickly he often wakes up properly and is awake for around 3 hours!

You don't have to let her cry but could you be strong about soothing her in her own cot however long it takes? It might be a rough night or two but she will get the message that she must sleep in her bed after a few nights
