Help! 3yo waking at 4am

DS has always been an early riser and I have accepted that, but early used to be 6am. Over the last few months his wake up time has got progressively earlier until he's now awake for the day at 4am. He doesn't nap in the day and is always asleep for 7pm. Earlier bedtime makes no difference and I can't keep him up later as he's so tired in the evenings. Once he wakes he will not go back to sleep either in our bed or his own.

Any similar experiences or suggestions to break the cycle?

Just to add we have a 4 wk old DD who wakes frequently so we're on our knees!

I've no idea sorry I'm in the same boat! My DS 3.8 and is up for 4am most mornings, he's up now but I've put him in bed I can still hear him chatting away. We have a gro clock which if I'm honest is not working! Maybe it would work for you? Or just put him back too bed? I don't normally do this but I'm hoping he falls asleep soon!

sorry no suggestions but again same situation here, ds is 2.6 does have daytime nap but is on his knees without it, shortening it to an hour seems to help, but not always. it seems the time he does his 'processing' as chats away happily and loudly to himself, luckily in his own bedroom, sometimes he goes back to sleep others not!!
